HANDS-FREE POWER TAILGATE

Loading and unloading your Volvo is easy, even when your hands are full.

You can open or close your tailgate manually. You can also press and hold the tailgate buttons on the lighting panel and on your remote key.

Or, use a simple hands-free method with your remote in range. Move your foot slowly forward once with a kicking motion below the left section of your bumper and take a step back to wait as it opens.

To set your maximum opening height, open your tailgate manually to the desired height and press and hold the left button on your tailgate for three seconds until you hear a beep. Your tailgate will stop at this height the next time you open it.
